About Me

I would like to personally thank you for taking the time to view my teaching portfolio. I am originally from Chicago, where I worked on TV shows and movies. During the Writers Guild strike, I took a chance to follow a dream I always had of living abroad. In 2008 I packed up and moved to South Korea in the historical city of Suwon. Immediately I fell in love with the country and met my wife. We have been married since 2012, and we love to travel, participate in water sports, skiing, and photography.

Over the years, I have been transitioning to being a diverse and professional educator by earning my professional teaching license, master's degree in education, and currently finishing up my doctorate in education at Johns Hopkins University. I am proud of being a lifelong learner, and it provides a level of empathy for students at the beginning stages of their educational journey.

Please take your time to look through my portfolio, and if you have any questions, please feel free to reach me by filling out the information below.
